2 ADDED GROUP AMENITIES
In addition to the many Extra Value features that VanGuard includes, groups of 6 or more cabins will have a special Wine Reception and Group Photo for each cabin.
3 SPECIAL GROUP COORDINATOR
VanGuard will assign a specific staff member to be your group's coordinator from the day you make a reservation to the day you return. Your coordinator will:
A. Obtain best available cabins and keep your group as close together as possible.
B. Arrange dining so that those with the same seating will share tables.
C. Make flight arrangements, when possible, to travel on the same flights.
D. Make arrangements for the group to be on the same sightseeing motorcoaches.
E. Arrange for your special Wine Reception and be sure all are notified.
F. Arrange for your Group Photograph to be taken.
G. Answer your questions and keep group notified of who is traveling.
4 PREFERRED AIR ARRANGEMENTS
You will be booked on the very best flights available with the least possible travel time and group members will be booked on the same flights where possible.
5 SPECIAL ADDITIONAL 1% DISCOUNT
Pay in full at the time of booking and you will receive an additional 1% discount. If that doesn’t sound like a good deal, consider these facts:
Holland America will not guarantee the air rate until they receive final payment. For example, if your cabin costs $8,000 - less your deposit of $1,200 and discounted insurance of $400, you could invest the $6,400 for 8 months at 4% and receive only $170. With our additional 1% discount ($80) deducted from that, your yield is only $90 or $45 per passenger. The benefit is that you lock in the airfare and fuel surcharge. That is not a bad guarantee for only $45!
6 KEY ACCOUNTS ACCESS
Being a Key Account with Holland America Line, VanGuard has dedicated staff contacts at Holland America and direct access to their computer reservations systems.
