The professional VanGuard Tour Managers are there to assist you when checking in at the hotels and aboard the ship to assist you with any problems which may arise either on the cruise or back home. These professionals are on VanGuard's payroll and not "commission escorts" which are used by many other tour operators in Alaska. In other words, VanGuard Tour Managers are there exclusively to protect your investment and insure that you receive everything for which you have paid. If you feel that an error has been made in your accommodations or dining arrangements, or if you desire to make any changes, they will assist you in working out the best possible solution.

Phil Storey

Phil and Brenda actually live in Vancouver and assist VanGuard in hotel, tour and airport operations.

Graham Nicholson

Graham has been a Tour Manager for over 20 years and served VanGuard with distinction in Europe for WWII/Normandy Tours. General Patton's Grandson called Graham "the best!"

Sharon Bohlen

Sharon has lived in Alaska for over 16 years. She assists VanGuard in the warm months and winters in Arizona.

Cliff has been assisting VanGuard tours for over 15 years and is frequently accompanied by his wife Susan (or is it the other way around?)
